Privacy Policy

Pocket CI ("the app", "we", "us") is an unofficial client for CircleCI, published as an independent project by Made by Sloths Limited. Unlike a typical app, Pocket CI talks directly to CircleCI's own API with a token that you provide. This policy explains what that means for your data.

The short version

We never see your token, and we never see your data. The app connects straight to CircleCI's servers with a token that stays on your device. We have no servers of our own, and we do not collect, store, or share anything.

What the app stores on your device

• Your personal API token. Stored in your iOS Keychain so the app can authenticate to CircleCI. It never leaves your device unless you paste it somewhere yourself.
• A few preferences (your last selected organisation and whether demo mode is on), in your device's standard preferences storage.

Nothing else is written to your device. Data you look at — pipelines, logs, jobs, credits — is fetched on demand and held only in memory while you're viewing it.

Where your data goes

Every request the app makes goes directly from your device to CircleCI's servers (api.circleci.com or app.circleci.com), over encrypted HTTPS, using your token. We are not in the middle of that connection. CircleCI's own privacy policy and terms apply to how CircleCI handles that data.

Removing your data

Sign out in the app's Settings and the token is removed from your Keychain immediately. Deleting the app removes its preferences. If you ever want to be sure, sign out first — then delete the app.

What we do not do

• We do not collect any personal information, and we never see your API token.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
• We do not use third-party SDKs or services that could see your data or your network activity.
• We do not sell, rent, or share anything, because there is nothing of yours on our side.

Your rights (GDPR and similar)

Because no personal data is collected or processed by us, there is no data subject to access, correct, export, or delete. If you believe otherwise or have a question, contact us and we will respond.

Changes to this policy

If the app's behaviour ever changes, this page will be updated first, with a new "last updated" date.
